The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

A blend of woodland wilderness and Disney magic, this one-of-a-kind resort is located on the western shore of Bay Lake within Walt Disney World's 750-acre pine and cypress forest. Opened July 1, 2024 as DVC's 17th resort, The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort features 350 freestanding private cabins sleeping up to six guests. Each cabin includes a full kitchen, separate bedroom with bunk beds, a Murphy bed in the living area, and a private porch with a charcoal grill. It is the only DVC resort in the system that is dog-friendly, with select cabins welcoming up to two dogs. Spend the day exploring the resort's 750 acres on golf carts, bikes, or on foot. Enjoy horseback trail rides and pony rides at Tri-Circle-D Ranch — home to the famous horses that pull Main Street's trolleys at Magic Kingdom. Cast a line in the lake, try your hand at archery, or gather around the nightly campfire with Chip 'n' Dale for storytelling and s'mores. Two pools, a leisure pool near the cabins, and a full recreation program keep guests of all ages entertained. Dining options include the fan-favorite Trail's End Restaurant and Crockett's Tavern at Pioneer Hall. The beloved Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner show performs nightly in the same building. A marina at the Settlement offers boat service directly to Magic Kingdom and the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Wilderness Lodge resorts — one of the most scenic commutes in all of Walt Disney World. Important note for buyers: This resort carries resale restrictions. Points purchased on the resale market cannot be used to book stays at the Cabins, and Cabins resale points can only be used at this resort — not at other DVC properties.
